Which Wanderlust Scent Are You? Take the Quiz and Find Out

Laundry Day Just Got a Permanent Upgrade Reading Which Wanderlust Scent Are You? Take the Quiz and Find Out 4 minutes

Some people pick a home fragrance scent the way they pick a coffee order: same thing every time, no questions asked. If that's you, respect. But if you've ever stood in front of your wax melt drawer with zero idea what you're in the mood for, this one's for you.

The Wanderlust Collection is three wax melt scents built around smoke, resin, amber, and wood: Desert Torchwood, Moonshadow, and Palo Santo. Each one stands on its own, but they were also designed to work as a set, moving from smoky and wide open, to sweet and a little sultry, to grounded and quiet. Together they cover pretty much any mood you'd want a room to hold.

Rather than tell you which one to pick, we made a quiz. Answer the four questions below, keep track of your letters, and we'll tell you where you land.

Mostly As: Desert Torchwood

You're drawn to scenes that feel a little bigger than life, and Desert Torchwood matches that energy. It opens with mystical smoke, like sage just caught fire in the next room, then settles into resinous torchwood, spicy cardamom, and a soft finish of fireweed honey and warm amber.

This is the scent for the person who wants their living room to feel like the edge of a canyon at golden hour. Big, a little dusty, completely worth it.

Mostly Bs: Moonshadow

You picked candlelight over sunshine, and Moonshadow is built for exactly that mood. Sweet balsamic resins layer over moonlit tonka and earthy patchouli, with white amber and a touch of peppered bergamot keeping things from tipping too sweet.

Burn this one after dark. It's sensual without trying too hard, and it's the kind of scent that makes people ask what it is before they even sit down.

Mostly Cs: Palo Santo

If your ideal morning is quiet, unhurried, and a little ritualistic, Palo Santo already knows you. The wood has been used for centuries to clear a space and settle the mind, and our version leans into tonka-dusted tobacco leaf and warm patchouli, grounded by real palo santo wood and finished with aged leather and spiced amber.

Rich, steady, and never loud. It's the scent equivalent of a good reset.

A mixed result?

Totally normal, and honestly kind of the point. These three scents come as a set in the Wanderlust Collection for a reason. If your answers were split, try rotating by time of day instead of picking a single favorite: Torchwood in the morning, Palo Santo through the afternoon, Moonshadow once the sun goes down.

You can also layer two in the same warmer dish. Torchwood and Palo Santo together lean smokier and more resinous, almost like walking past an incense shop. Moonshadow and Palo Santo together stay warm and grounded without going too sweet.

However you land, there's no wrong answer here. Grab whichever one you kept circling back to while reading, or just get the whole set and let your week decide for you.
