We had the pleasure of chatting with Morgan about her inspiration and the process behind Jasmine Blooms. She shared that her journey to becoming a florist began while studying landscape design at NC State, where she fell in love with growing and arranging flowers. "I love being outside and floral designs bring the outside inside," she explained. "I love how flowers are often at the center of connecting with others."
Morgan describes her signature style as a modern garden style, focusing on textures and creating interesting layers. The scent development process for Jasmine Blooms was a fascinating experience for her. "I had no idea the myriad of steps and all the trial and error it takes to get a good scent." She even compared wax samples to fresh jasmine in her studio to ensure an accurate representation of the flower's natural aroma, showing just how important it is to get the scent of Jasmine correct.
When it comes to incorporating jasmine into floral arrangements, Morgan loves how it adds elegance to bouquets and centerpieces.
